"It's Lonely at the Top"

This expression could not be more accurate as a CEO, particularly in an association with a volunteer board.  HLG CEO Coaching provides the sounding board every CEO needs, and few have.  Industry veteran John Longstreet provides a rare perspective into your operation, board, and yourself.

John's service includes a monthly 1:1, typically via video, bi-weekly "check-ins" utilizing a simple Q&A application, and as-needed "on the fly" advice.  To paraphrase Cornell Professor Tony Simons, "John's coaching could change your life."

Even third graders listen to John.

About John

John Longstreet most recently was president and CEO of the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA).  The PRLA represents Pennsylvania's 26,000 restaurants, 1500 hotels, and 50 destination marketing organizations by promoting, protecting, and improving the state's hospitality and tourism industry.  It provides a unified voice for the travel and tourism industry.

Before taking the helm of the PRLA, Longstreet was president & CEO of Quaker Steak & Lube, the fast-growing casual dining chain.  During his four-year tenure, the company posted record growth, expanding from 38 to 65 restaurants in 17 states and Canada.  Before leading QS&L, Longstreet was executive vice president of ClubCorp USA, which owned and operated 160 golf and business clubs nationwide.  He also served as senior vice president of Bristol Hotels & Resorts, then North America's largest independent hotel management company, and vice president of Intercontinental Hotels Group.  While at Bristol and ClubCorp, Longstreet spearheaded the development of and oversaw the HR functions for the organizations, each of which had nearly 20,000 employees.
